St John the Evangelist RC Church
St John the Evangelist RC Church, Römisch-katholische Kirche in Portobello, Edinburgh, Schottland.
Die Kirche steht an der Kreuzung von Brighton Place und Sandford Gardens, mit neugotischer Architektur und Buntglasfenstern.
Der Bau begann 1816 unter Architekt William Burn, der die Struktur im Alter von 25 Jahren entwarf.
Die Kirche enthält ein von Sir Robert Lorimer entworfenes Denkmal und hält regelmäßige Gottesdienste nach episkopaler Tradition.
Das Gebäude funktioniert als Teil der Gruppe 2 zusammen mit den Gemeinden St. Maria Magdalena und St. Theresa von Lisieux.
Im Jahr 1961 erhielt die Kirche eine Orgel aus Hawick, die später von Rushworth und Dreaper neu aufgebaut wurde.
