Das Seminar erstreckt sich über 66.000 Quadratmeter mit Klassenräumen, Bibliothek, Verwaltungsbüros und Räumen für theologische Bildung.
Das 1907 während einer Versammlung in Salvador gegründete Seminar zog 1936 an seinen jetzigen Standort, als es vom Baptist College unabhängig wurde.
Die Einrichtung integriert Musikausbildung durch ihr 1962 eingeführtes Kirchenmusikprogramm, das Studenten auf musikalische Führung vorbereitet.
Studenten können sich für Studiengänge in Theologie, Musik, Geschichte und Pädagogik einschreiben, mit Präsenz- und Fernstudienoptionen.
Das Seminar hat über 3.000 Diplome an Personen vergeben, die jetzt in Diensten in Brasilien und verschiedenen Ländern weltweit tätig sind.
