Children's Farm Home School

Children's Farm Home School is a Georgian-style building set on a large 300-acre property between Corvallis and Albany. The structure spans about 17,000 square feet and contains classrooms, residential areas, and various facility buildings spread across the sprawling campus.

The Woman's Christian Temperance Union founded this building in 1925 as a refuge for orphaned children during the economic challenges of the early 20th century. Later the facility evolved to serve other educational and community purposes over the decades.

The institution maintained self-sufficiency through operating its own cannery, dairy, slaughterhouse, and agricultural activities while preparing students for Corvallis High School.

The site is easily accessed from U.S. Route 20 and parking is available on the property for visitors. Indoor and outdoor areas accommodate different activities, making it suitable for touring during regular daylight hours.

After major renovations in 2013, the building now contains a family center, conference spaces, and restaurant alongside preserved historic rooms. This transformation allows the public to experience both original architectural features and modern community facilities within the same structure.
